At Accelerated Learning Academy, our commitment to individualized education extends beyond the classroom with our Accelerated Learning Clinic (ALC).
Low Learner-to-Clinician Ratio
Our clinical staff is dedicated to providing personalized attention to each child and maintaining a low learner-to-clinician ratio. Our clinical staff maintains caseloads of 4-5 learners. This ensures that every learner receives the focused support and guidance necessary for their success

Data-Driven Decisions
At ALC, we utilize data-based decisions within an ongoing program assessment, development, and monitoring of each learner's medically necessary treatment and behavioral goals. This rigorous approach ensures that our interventions are both effective and tailored to the unique needs of each child.

Behavior Monitoring and Management
Behavioral progress is continuously monitored and addressed as needed, ensuring that any challenges are promptly and effectively managed. This allows us to support positive behaviors and reduce or eliminate problematic ones, contributing to a more independent and adaptive individual.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Our treatment is firmly grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis, a well-established approach that uses evidence-based techniques to improve socially significant behaviors. ABA is the cornerstone of our clinical interventions, providing a structured and effective framework for teaching new skills and reducing undesirable behaviors.

Support for Young Learners
In addition to serving school-aged children, our clinic also provides services for children ages 2 to 5 under medical services. Early intervention is crucial for young learners with developmental challenges, and our clinic is equipped to offer the specialized support they need during these formative years.
Apply to the
Accelerated Learning Clinic
Children and families who wish to receive ALC services must also apply and be admitted to the Accelerated Learning Academy. Please follow these steps:
1. Complete the Application for the Accelerated Learning Academy
2. Complete the Intake Packet for the Accelerated Learning Clinic
Note that you will need to provide detailed insurance information & collateral reports (including but not limited to Neuro/Psychological Reports, IEP, most recent Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy reports, current ABA treatment plan, most recent ABA Assessment) within this intake packet.
3. Email both the completed ALA Application and ALC Intake Packet to gwenj@alcautism.com. They may also be dropped off at our clinic. Please ask for Dr. Gwen Johnson when dropping paperwork off at the clinic.
4. An ALA / ALC team member will contact you once all paperwork is received and reviewed to schedule a tour date and time. A tour will not be conducted without receiving the above forms first.
